Depends how I'm feeling. Tool sometimes. Snow Patrol others. Tupac "How Do You Want It" all the time.
Peace to all.

I really enjoy cruising to Beastie Boys and Gorilkaz when I want to relax, or when I'm tired. If I'm just cruising for fun I choose 90's rap. When I'm really really happy, I listen to random cartoon, anime, and video game music/openings.

Any suggestions? Particularly any that would blend well with a breakbeat....

Ooh those are nice! Classics are really the go-to but I'm trying to be more modern these days...

Hmmmm.... Big fan of driving to Clutch, Queens of the Stone Age and Tool but I think the best driving music has to be the mighty Kyuss.

i love to drive to high-energy music...rap and hard rock. find myself driving a lot to Faith No More, Mos Def, Jane's Addiction (shut up i'm old)...stuff like that

i will say one time i drove through the desert in AZ/CA through Joshua Tree National Park while listening to U2's Joshua Tree album...it was the absolute PERFECT soundtrack for that landscape. you could really feel the influence it had on the band when making those songs.

Every time this song comes on, my speed increases by 10-20 MPH and if it's warm, my windows come down.

i love all the "90's hip-hop/rap" answers. that's almost all i listen to and ya'll make me feel a lot less alone for being stuck in that era /nod

oh, and Mary J. Blige. was almost exclusive to my last car to such a degree my fella used to joke it was fueled by MJB.
especially this song:

makes any bad day so much better, and when driving, it makes me feel so freeeeee (sun)
