Hits the power button.. :| my memory was a bit foggy, i think by this time it was due to all the previous childhood traumas haha

I grew up with this one as well. SO MANY HOURS SPENT!!!
I've come to enjoy the game boy advance version better because it doesn't have lag issues like the NES version. I can make it to lv 53 sometimes lv 54 WITHOUT LOSING A LIFE!!!! I can get past 58 without continuing. That was my highest.

Damn my fat fingers always making me edit typos.

The only console game that I've ever played from beginning to end was The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on Super Nintendo. It was literally a marathon session that lasted like 3 days. It was my girlfriends (at the time) little brothers and it became this huge thing that everyone and the neighbors came over to watch me in shifts...

Other than that I played the shit out of Metroid on the NES and Street Fighter II I think on the Super NES.

The only console I've ever owned was an Atari 2600... I had everything for it pretty much because my dad owned a Radio Shack.

As for PC I started on a Commodore 64 in around 1980, then graduated to a 128 and finally had to drop it for an IBM compatible in the middle 1980s because they started phasing out mainstream games from the Commodore and it was clear that PC was the way to go. It was a 486 that my uncle put together for me.

Games from that era that I sunk hundreds of hours into...

Full Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within 9 plus hour playthrough, full on full motion video gameplay, amazing acting and a history lesson to boot! This was during the heyday of FMV in video games in the 1990's! SO bad it's amazing! ;)

Its crazy i dont remember this in the arcades. Maybe PA was just behind the times? I remember Area 51 and Lethal Enforcers with those graphics, thats about it.

I remember waiting in line for virtua fighter, 1, 2 and 3, and Mortal Kombat. Those were the biggest arcade hits i remember from the 90's. And Virtua Cop and Time Crisis
