If I do see a payphone somewhere, it's usually missing parts and covered in graffiti :giggle:

Ugh pagers....mine went off the end of the pier eventually because it bothered me so much. Now I don't put my phone down go figure.

There's still phone boxes around my city I'm not sure if they are active or not anymore though haven't had a reason to check in a while I'll look into that next time i pass one.

I was in a bar the other night that had a payphone on the wall for decoration, and they installed an antique phone handle for kicks. T'was cute

Come to think of it, the most relevant payphones have been in the last decade has probably been their role in the Serial podcast and conviction of Adnan Sayed. Insane podcast for those who haven't listened.
