I really need reliable, useful field guides for things like plants, trees, herbs and such for North America. Free is better, but if it's really exceptional I would pay.

Yeah I've gone through that list and a few other lists I found via Google and nothing... the only official Audubon Society app is the bird guide (which I have), literally all the others are third party company and aren't available via Google Play in the USA for some reason (probably because it's copyrighted material used without permission by said third party). Also a lot of those are only on iTunes and fuck Apple. I use Android. ;)

The only one that I was considering among those was Leafsnap, but it's Apple only... back to looking. :P

There are sooooo many app ideas that I have. Apps aren't going away that's for sure. I have no suggestions though and shall be stalking this thread.

I really like the Underground by Amazon Prime. It has helped me to cheat in sometimes :)
