I, myself, am not a Windows user but if you are, I would do some research on this and make sure I have the latest updates available.
I think WannaCry was discovered last Friday. And if I'm not mistaken, it is really concerning for Win 10 users.

Re: WannaCry
Crazy stuff. I'm glad I use Ubuntu and OSX for my personal computing. Towards the end of last year one of my colleagues asked me to come and have a look at his computer because it contracted a virus. I'd never seen ransomware before but maaaan that stuff if brutal! I asked him what he did before it got infected and he told he he'd opened an email.
"Was it from someone you know?"
"No..."
"Did it have an attachment?"
"Yes!"
"Aaaah, and did you open it?"
"Yep...."
"Well, sorry, but you're fucked."
Unbelievable that people are still opening unsolicited email attachments.

Re: WannaCry
Yep, most emails have some form of virus scanning but yeah... You should never open a file from an email unless you know what it is and who it's from.
No worries - just thought I'd share what I'm learning on a day-to-day.. stay safe.

Haha that is the safest way, I guess.
