MAX

A story about a military service dog who suffers the loss of his handler.
I liked it but it was too long.

I love dogs, especially hero dogs :)

Xmen: Apocalypse - Meh, it was a movie. Quicksilver was easily the highlight. Needs his own movie.

I'm just back from Warcraft. Not a bad movie, great special effects and as a non warcraft player I would recommend this to fantasy nerds like me.

I just saw it Fri night. I thoguht it was ok. Mostly, i hated the plot points that were spelled out, and I wasnt big on the 2 of the main human characters acting ability. I recommend it in 3d, the effects were awesome to see in 3d and it added a lot to the environments as well.

I really liked Olympus Has Fallen, felt like a good old fashioned action flick... how is the sequel? ;)

I liked it, it was a good action flick. There was no need for deep thoughts, but it also brought up some interesting aspects to terrorist attacks.

Max (2015)

IMDB

Image

Plot= A dog that helped US Marines in Afghanistan returns to the U.S. and is adopted by his handler's family after suffering a traumatic experience.

I really liked this movie. I was pleasantly surprised about how entertaining it was. It is a tearjerker.

Not sure if these really count because I'm always throwing up old movies onto my TV in the background... it's like Saturday afternoon thriller theater in my house at all times. ;)

Also watching Amityville 3D for the first time in decades... the 3D is SO bad. Four times just during the opening credits they wiggle a fake tree branch at the camera. It's horrifyingly terrible, and awesome. Also, Lori Loughlin and Meg Ryan are in it! :D

Just watched "Max" the hero war dog movie. I liked it. better than i thought.

After that I watched Maze Runner scorch trials...It was decent. Poor kid got hurt during filming for the third film and it was postponed by like two years i think.

Just watched Inside Out...that was decent but not funny enough for my liking when it comes to cartoons....

Watched The Good Dinosaur and I really liked that. Both are super great films for kids, but I think you will like The Good Dinosaur even as an adult.

And...before that I watched Terminator Genysys (not sure if I spelled that correctly, but its the newest Terminator movie I think). I can see why it bombed in theatres, but as a rental, Hulu, or just something to watch at home, I found it very entertaining. The Governator was actually very entertaining, decent storyline (though predictable), and a few great one-liners.

How to Train Your Dragon! Girlfriend had never seen it, so we really had to remedy that. ;)

Each movie, special short videos, and the TV series are great. This is easily my favorite cartoon film series.
