Yeah, because a hot chick surfing alone on some remote mystery beach is always a good idea!

I liked it.
I appreciated that it wasn't over-the-top gruesome, but still a tense, scary shark movie.

Cool, I as waiting to hear whether or not the new CTHD: SoD movie was any good. I'll give it a try.

I recently watched Gods of Egypt and finished the Hunger Games series. I felt Hunger Games became progressively worse each movie. They really should have just made it a trilogy and not spread it out so much. Cut it down to three and do a better edit job and it might have been more entertaining.

Gods of Egypt was pretty good, but I would have liked to have seen more actual Egyptians. Also, again, I felt this movie suffered from poor pacing and editing. I didnt mind all of the CGI and it had a decent story they should have relied on more.

It is a good movie..

I have not seen Beyond yet. Not because I do not want to, but because my electric company does not want me too.. fuckers..

I do not see the hate that the new Trek movies get. They are not all that bad, it is Star Trek not an oscar awarding documentary about space travel.

I understand why die-hard Trekkies weren't behind the new timeline and movies... but we've got so much Star Trek now it's hard to really fault it. I enjoyed the new Star Trek movies for what they are. Haven't seen the latest one yet though.

Ive enjoyed all 3 of them a lot, this one the most. Not too many series where I can say the third one is my favorite. People will laugh at me when I say Bev Hills Cop 3 is my favorite of the 3. it really is though. to each their own. even eddie m,urphy on record saying it sucks in an interview. lol im a weirdo tho, i love it and quote it ALL THE TIME.

some great quotes:

Balian: What could a king ask of a man like me?
Godfrey: A better world than has ever been seen. A kingdom of conscience. A kingdom of heaven.

Hospitaler: I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What god desires is here [points to head]
Hospitaler: ...and here [points to heart]
Balian: ...and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not.

King Baldwin IV: A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice. Remember that.

Nasir: and if God does not love you, how could you have done the things you have done?

Godfrey: You are not what you were born, but what you have it in yourself to be.

As much as Kingdom of Heaven is stupidly historically inaccurate, I still love it. ;)

Did you watch Red Cliff yet man? If you love sweeping epics...

i know right.. :lawl:

i had to watch that on my wifes little throwback tv, u know, the 18" the box one.. hahaa

i have red cliff waiting and ready.. but i want to do the experience justice and watch it on the flat screen because the scenery looked way too cool to settle on watching on a lil tv. the big one is packed up right now.. we are basically living out of boxes atm, it sucks. so much uncertainty, ive been reduced to my wifes box collection of dvds, so ive been kind of making the best of it.
