The cast is amazing! I'm more worried about not going in with achievable expectations. X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Avengers I both went into with excitement but wasn't completely sure what i was about to see. Loved both!

My one hope is that they don't release an insane amount of trailers. That kills it for me.

Very underwhelming but I'm not a fan of this comic series. I'll go in with an open mind but that trailer does very little for me.

i'm interested...know little of the character, but Scott Derrickson has made some decent horror flicks so i think he could do a good job with this as long as the action sequences are done right. my biggest gripe with most superhero movies lately has been what i'm calling "Lucas Syndrome". so often now so much is being thrown onto the screen in an attempt to seem impressive...but instead has the effect of inducing headache because there is no real focus...just an overwhelming mass of visuals that has no space and leaves you grasping at what is happening. it tends to happen most often in fight-scenes with multiple characters. drives me nuts.

thankfully Civil War did it right. the fight scenes with groups of characters were wild, yet filmed and composed in a way that gave them space so you could actually tell what was going on.

guess we'll see with this one!

I'm going to watch the Netflix animated movie they have with him to learn more. I generally enjoy comic book movies, so I'm happy it's coming out.

Do not underestimate the animated marvel cartoons on Netflix! They remind me a lot of the 90's XMen cartoon except they are a lot more violent and sometimes infer sex to the point where it's done well as part of the story.

I absolutely loved every minute of it. I was thoroughly entertained from the moment it began to the moment the credits rolled. Thats not usually how marvel movies work. They really nailed this one. SUCH excellent pacing!!!!

best Marvel film in ages...absolutely loved it. i will say i wish Cumberbatch had kept his Brit accent. he really struggles with hard consonants sometimes and doesn't do as well with the witty jokey stuff as easily as say, RDJ would have done if he was in the same role. otherwise awesome

I have to wait for this one to come out on DVD (well actually Blu-Ray), cause damn movie tickets are expensive as hell.

I hope it is as good as y'all say it is. Then it would be that much better :)
