So, I like lists. It is a weird thing I do, but that is another discussion for another forum on another day. That being said, here are my top 5 favorite superheroes of all time.

1. Gambit - badass, smartass, downright cool
2. Rogue - She can steal powers?!!?!? Plus, she was a strong female hero.
3. Domino - Just downright cool!
4. Punisher - Ruthless and misunderstood!
5. Batman - The Dark Knight! The only DC hero to make my list!

Let me know your top 5!

Rorschach. No hero or anti hero since him on the big screen has come close to the general badassary.

Green Lantern. What can I say, I love the Corps. I love anything in space....which brings us to,

Starlord(Technically all of the Guardians) I love the dynamic the comic's set after 2008 which is basically the dynamic they all have in the movie. Interesting characters, breaking old archetypes. Just great fun.

Nightcrawler. Just his aesthetic and the BAMF that's all the reason I need.

Constantine. one of the few supernatural heroes to completely grip me on paper as much as Buffy did on screen. Fantastic character.

1. L from Death Note I would consider a superhero, one I could mate with.
2. Rogue you stressed out empathy-filled badass I appreciate your existence
3. Watched Deadpool. Bisexual and averse to authority? Has a hard time getting this whole non-aggression thing? Yes.
4. Storm your extremely stoic and shit-together thing you had going on in the animated series was something I've always admired.
5. CAPTAIN PLANET because y'all we're going to be cooked or nuked to death as a species, and the aesthetic is like a train wreck
Once was lost and now am lost; was blind but now I smoke

1. Spider-Man No Explanation needed.
2. The Tick Nigh invulnerable and so Lawful Good it hurts. The fact that he's completely insane is just a bonus.
3. Doctor Victor Von Doom Because in his mind he IS a superhero.
4. The Hulk HULK SMASH!!! Need more?

1. Vegeta - Started out really evil and came around, kind of. He does everything his way, knocks up his wife and immediately leaves her to train. He's just so badass and condescending, and hilarious wisecracks at his opponent's
expense. He's got it all!
2. Batman - he is human and he never loses. Dark, terrifying, and plays by his own rules. Gives zero Fuchs what anyone thinks. I gotta respect that.
3. Wolverine - does as he pleases and doesn't take shit from anyone. Also gives zero fucks what anyone thinks.
4. Moon Knight - I learned of him through Pinball FX 2 on Xbox 360. I became obsessed with all the characters and mini games on the table. I bought the first 5 of his comics when his works got "reset" when all Marvel comics got the reboot thing and all started over again (5 years ago?). I loved it and read them about 10 times each. He's kind of like Marvel's answer to Batman, but MK's strength is enhanced pending on which phase of the lunar cycle the moon is in. He has multiple personalities which heavily influence his style, and I just find him and his world fascinating.
5. The Hulk - a big ball of rage that only gets stronger and ragier. I love everything about it!

I understand the Spider-Man fatigue that so many have but there is no denying he is the center of the Marvel universe and it's most important character.

You should check out the original Tick comics by Ben Edlund. Brilliant!

I LOVE THE TICK. omg i love you so much more for bringing him props here (sun) <3

ok, this is going to take me some time, but for starters i can list three

1. Hellboy - i love EVERYTHING about this character, the stories, the artwork. basically my favorite comic...reminds me often of the X-Files, but even funnier. and that's aside from the fact he also happens to be an all-around badass.

2. Jean Grey - complex, beautiful, empathetic...flip to the fiery, unstoppable rage of Dark Phoenix. the woman is close to my heart, and scary as shit.

3. Wonder Woman - it's Wonder Woman, dammit.

throwing around in my head: Batman, Mystique, Black Widow, Nightcrawler...

I just watched Flashpoint Paradox, a DC movie on Netflix, had to do with alternate realities and alternate heroes in those realities in tone travel fuckery, totally going against what they normally stand for and lots and lots of murder and deception all around. It blew my fucking mind, and in sure everyone in this thread would enjoy it.
