You know that song don't you? You listen to it and every fiber of your being resonates, your hair stands on end and your eyes begin to water. The power of the song courses through you as you sit there dumbfounded that something as simple as Soundwaves have the ability to literally take the breath away from you. Once done listening you sit there in silence afraid to move or to even hear anything for fear of losing the feeling that the song has imparted on you.

You play it over and over reveling in the joy, emotions, and power that the song has to offer until you reach a point and you keep trying to relive that first impression but it fails to love up to it until you give up. And then a few months later you stumble across it and bam there it is again.

What is that song for you?

What song stops you in your tracks?

One song that always does that, mainly because it helped me open my indoctrinated eyes to the fullest when i was a young, angry boy.

Co parent told recently me she thinks of me when she hears Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. Shit like that kind of breaks me.

Listen to this if you're an idealist and really, really baked. It's a live version of Portal by Lights, one of the goddesses of this world: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV8IpnLchI8

Oooooh, I just had a listen to a bit of Sigur Ros and was bowled over listening to this incredible song for the first time in a few months.

Absolutely magical.
