I'm wondering who in here can tell if stamens are forming so the males can be killed since sinsemilla is what is wanted.

Best guess is that they are still in vegetation and not flowering, and that it's too early to figure males

Perfect. Thank you. Yeah, I think that's the only option, force-flowering a cutting. Just hate that cuttings must be taken from all the babies...

Think of it as early cloning.

I'm not so good with photo identification but I think so. Watch her close.

Pardon all the loading but you know, resolution matters in these matters! Things are moving right along, about a week into the 12/12 (flowering), according to a friend.

Question: Any evidence of males in the last two pictures?

Any other folks with guesses on if this is a male or a hermaphrodite?

Apparently if the flowers start as little balls on the stem, it's a male. If they start as little pistils, white hair-like threads, it's a female. If it has both, it's a hermaphrodite. I can't tell from any of the pictures which one it is, since they're too far away from the budding flowers. Those little white pistils are what you want to look for, though.

I think you need to get one of those cheap USB microscopes for getting better pictures.

So good news for my friend: Found out it was a hermie, which still makes it pretty good for oil, BUT it pollinated the female next to it, and seeds EVERYWHERE. The yield was going to suck anyhow, and while normally this would be a tragedy, it produced seeds that fit the definition of "feminized": A stressed out female turns hermaphroditic and is then used to pollinate another female. Friend says the genetics mean it'll be a nice cross between White Zombie OG (super high-THC Indica) and Super Silver Haze (clear-headed Sativa strong hybrid). Friend is germinating now.
