they're waiting on an excuse to use all these guns they've been saving up, i'm telling you.
they want a civil war...

and the wealthy will sit back and watch and be glad when there are less mouths to feed...and people to support on welfare (if it isn't totally gutted by then)...

I'm still not sure what all the hubub is about this... she's not calling for violence, she's calling for the use of dialectic to fight (truth), not for people to pick up arms. In my estimation it's the radical Left that is not only promoting but committing most of the violence out there right now. Even classical Liberal new media reporters and pundits are fully admitting that now, like Tim Pool (who goes to a ton of rallies, protests and such to cover them live... https://www.youtube.com/user/Timcasts) and Dave Rubin who talks to people from all over the spectrum. People really need to get their news from more than just Slate and HuffPo...

Actually, I get my news from almost every source besides Fox News. I do watch it sometimes to see how the other side see things because that is the best way to combat bat-shit crazy.

I just posted the NRA Ad. There is now a counter Ad by Black Lives Matter Movement. Which counters this one.

Many within my own family see this NRA ad as a call to arms. You may not see it as such, but many without the ability to see it for what it is, just an ad. There are now many militias at least around where I live, who are using the NRA ad as a way to separate them vs everyone else. It boils down to white vs anyone who opposes whites.

It does not help when the President of the United States gives a speech in Poland about just how great the West is. How the West is the best thing since sliced bread. While places like China have their own issues, one can not discount the history of over a billion people just because they are not European. Without many of the innovations that come from areas that are not in the West, then the West would not be where it is at. It is an isolationist view that will only, in the end, harm the United States.

This ad only plays into that. It can be used and twisted to fit some worldview that works for whomever. On both sides of the political spectrum.

yeah i was going to say...i doubt the average half-illiterate doofbag sitting in his shack surrounded by rifles, already thinking with the Us vs Them mentality is really gonna read behind the lines when seeing an ad like this. come on. we all know what this is really trying to do. it's not fooling anyone.

not to mention, i thought the Left was a bunch of "snowflakes". now they're a bunch of violent rabble-rousers? i r cornfused. /62

oh yeah, and this person also does not even touch Slate...nor Huff. i can't even stand to visit their site....hate their auto-play vids so much i don't dare click a link! ;-)

Actually I'd put most of the MSM in the same boat with the rest of them. I can't even stomach most of it. On and on with the endless false narratives that have been debunked a hundred ways to Sunday, it's excruciating to try and slog through and get anything close to real news. We get it, you hate Drumpf. He could cure cancer and you'd bitch and say he was stealing jobs from doctors... Russia is everywhere, etc. Watch some of Tim Pools videos. He goes out to many rallies all over the country and the world and just reports what he sees. He leans just left of center politically and is very fair in his coverage. I think by watching the videos anyone will come to the same conclusion that he and many others have... the violence that ends up happening in rallies and such are almost always instigated by the Leftist groups, like Antifa, BLM and other Postmodernist groups that have taken over from the classic Liberals... as Tim has said many times when covering these events; He talks to the Left they label him with derogative terms, get confrontational, refuse to talk, and get violent. He talks to the Right, he gets good conversations, people are friendly and open, etc... It's all right there for anyone to see, which is why I like watching his coverage and other people in his new media circle. He doesn't try to spin things to fit a narrative.

Just because some few dumbasses might misconstrue the meaning of something such as this and other NRA ads doesn't mean that was the NRA's intent. Although I have to say, unless you've been living under a rock politically, things aren't exactly going very well. For the same reasons people voted for Drumpf, they are sick of the "alt-Left" and their Postmodernist ways, even if they don't specifically know that is what they are against... It's anti-American, even if you're a Liberal, because we all believe in this great experiment and we all love our freedoms even if we disagree on some specifics.

way i see it, both sides have a fair share of angry violent asses. but only one has a longer, richer history of such violence and sorry, but it's ye ol' Right.

also, how do i know this guy is not editing his work a certain way to show a certain result? how do i know he is only showing angry Lefists and friendly Righties? how do i know the angry Leftists aren't even fake plants / actual Righties pretending to be something they're not just to make the other side look bad?

i don't trust every little indy media joint out there just because they're *not* corporate msm, either.

If you're not watching it happen, doing the groundwork and actually seeing it then you aren't seeing anything... which is why I watch guys like Tim Pool and several others to see what is really going on on the ground.

Tim live streams nearly every rally he goes to, and posts the raw video on his Youtube channel. It can be cross checked and thousands of people from both political extremes watch his videos. If there were shenanigans happening, he would have been called out on it by now. I've watched several of them myself, live as they happened and I can attest to their validity. He is politically opposite of me on many key issues, so believe me when I say that if he was being untruthful I wouldn't watch or trust him.

By aligning themselves openly with violent groups like Antifa (now beginning to be classified as a terrorist organization in the US), BLM and people like Linda Sarsour, the Left has lost any claim to the moral high ground they may have had... a long time ago. No one has to admit it, it's simply true.

i've yet to watch the above vids, but if Pool streams live feeds that does add to credibility, yes. my overall point however still stands that just because someone is "independent", they still have an agenda. i'm already familiar with Tim Pool and do think he's one of the better folks out there on the ground reporting. there is still a lot of bullshit going on though with people posing as the opposing side with the intent of causing trouble to deliberately cast certain groups in bad light. i've already said that i have issue with antifa, though, just like i have an issue with ads like the one the NRA put out in the OP.

more to come once i see these response ads. but i can already tell you i (and likely many others here) will never take anything Tucker Carlson says with an iota of weight, so i'm not sure why you'd even bother posting his commentary here. don't troll us Feyd. :-P

ok, i can easily clarify.

the people who are angry and protesting, are doing so because they believe they are facing a tyrannical government. therefore the Left's dissent is not any different than that which the Right engaged in during the 8 years of the Obama administration...when people were losing their minds and even formed an entire new "party" in order to work against him and "take their country back".
