I love how the liberal media won't call it terrorism... even after several devices in both incidents were found, pipe bombs and pressure cooker devices. Setting off explosions in heavily populated areas to cause injury, death and fear is the very definition of terrorism... but that doesn't fit the narrative.

i was in midtown at 4 am this morning... it was surreal... but not. NYers will literally throw a party across the street from a shooting. I'm not sure if people were really aware of what was going on but the trains and buses were all kinds of fucked up and the 20some street stations were all being bypassed. It was a little eerie.

UPDATE: "A 28-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection with a pair of explosions reported over the weekend in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood and a New Jersey shore town has been apprehended. Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested after a police-involved shooting in Linden, New Jersey.

Linden police said they found Rahami after officers responded to a call of a man sleeping in a hallway of a local business.

When an officer approached the man, the man raised his head and that’s when the officer recognized him as Rahami, Capt. James Sarnicki with Linden police told CBS2.

“The suspect pulled out a gun and fired at the officer and striking him in the abdomen,” Sarnicki said. “The gentlemen got up and started walking down the street in a westerly direction. I’m told that he was randomly discharging his handgun and one of the officers was able to get close enough to him and return fire.”

The explosive was NOT Tannerite as some new organizations have reported "officials" saying. I have experience with Tannerite, and it cannot be detonated like that. Not with any sort of fuse, flame, electrical or otherwise. Certainly not with a cellphone and electronic trigger like it looks like these devices had. The ONLY way Tannerite can detonate is via a projectile traveling at over 2,000 FPS hitting it. Shrapnel from a primary explosion would not work. Also the one they detonated via robot went off by accident when the robot tried to cut a wire to disarm it. It was NOT a controlled explosion. This indicates a fair amount of knowledge and skill in bomb making. At the very least they were trained by some person or method with expert skill. Again, them saying anything else is just means to an end, rhetoric, half truths and bald faced lies meant to distract from the truth and prey on the ignorance and fear of the general populace.

In light of recent events in New York, New Jersey

Three points-
1) It is not the job of the media to add fuel to fire of fear by using a label that government officials are not using. The job of media is to report news- not make up rating grabbing headlines.
2)The stated goal of terrorists is to spread terror and decent. We the people have power over whether we hand them that goal or refuse them. The words we use can give or deny validation.
3) Calling these sick criminals Muslim is as insulting as calling David Koresh a Christian.

Terrorists see themselves as fighters in a holy war. Calling these attacks as part war or terrorism gives them validation. The use of the words and phrases that incite panic and validate their self-labeled role in these violent attacks serves their goals- not the people of the free world.

Isis is a pied pipper calling the angry, the imbalanced and mentally ill with the sirens song of glory. Most recent case in poit? A dead beat dad whose family business was recently closed by the government. Not a soldier just a guy with a beef and a voice in his head about a path to glory.

I hold on to the power of my words and call them- from the Bomber in Orlando to Rahami weak minded fools who believe in fairy tales.
