I'm crafting a fictional religion. It's called the Church of the Dying. More to come.

Is it like Carrollism from The Following?

Since I don't know the reference I have to say no. It's about having members that want to be ok with dying. We are ALL dying everyday. This Church is for those that are aware of that and want to live the rest of their dying lives as the truest version of themselves or at very least not be scared of dying and to cross peacfully - whatever that means to the specific individual.

We are born to die. What we do in between these 2 points is what really matters. Dying is inevitable

I feel like you must have had a point besides this obvious statement.

Cool.
A few parallels i thought of

Star Trek DS9 S04xe24 - The Quickening
The character of Trevean, who offered a hospice, and "treated" his patients by giving them poison once they had "quickened".

It sort of reminds me of the Speaker for the Dead, from the Ender's Game series.
In the fictional world of Ender Wiggin, the Speaker for the Dead comes after someone dies and speaks their life out loud.
The whole truth of it.
The Speaker for the Dead finds out all the good and the bad and recites it unfiltered, it's like one of many space religions in that series.
I am only here a short time. Inshalla khair :) I love you all.
