Happy Indigenous People's Day

Postby cerrodepedro » Mon Oct 10, 2016 4:23 pm

Hey all,

I think this is worth your consideration: These Authors are Writing in Indigenous Languages to Keep Native Traditions Alive

Kind of wish the Americas-esque Buzzfeed-type-site I love so much (Remezcla) would use the specific languages instead of generic "Mayan" because, well, there are a lot of them. I know some K'iche' grammar and a tiny bit of conversation, and a few Tz'utujil words. In any case I can say the Maya language family remains very, very much alive.
